Some problems are easy to feel; others are visible only on an examination or imaging. Removal is not automatic—the goal is to understand whether monitoring or treatment is the safer plan for you.

Have soft foods and water ready, then gradually return to your normal diet as comfort allows and your instructions permit.

Our approach to holistic wisdom teeth removal can include Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF). When appropriate, we prepare it from a small sample of the patient’s own blood and place it directly into the extraction sites.
The fibrin matrix may provide a biologic scaffold at the surgical site.
Research suggests PRF can reduce some postoperative complications after lower wisdom-tooth removal.
PRF is used when clinically appropriate. It supports healing but cannot guarantee a specific outcome or prevent every complication.

At our practice, about 94% of wisdom-teeth patients choose to go to sleep for their procedure with IV general anesthesia, but going to sleep is not required. Depending on the patient and the planned procedure, wisdom teeth can sometimes be removed with local anesthesia while the patient remains awake. Your surgeon will review the safe, appropriate options for you.
Yes. We accept all PPO dental insurance plans, bill the carrier for you, and follow up on claims. We can also request pre-authorization before surgery is scheduled so you receive an expected insurance and out-of-pocket breakdown. CareCredit, Proceed Finance, and LendingClub Patient Solutions may be available to qualified applicants.
The right timing depends on the procedure and your responsibilities. Summer and school-break appointments tend to fill sooner, so request an evaluation early if those dates matter to your family. At your evaluation, ask the surgeon how much initial rest to plan for and when common activities may be resumed.
Recovery varies by person and procedure. Rest is especially important during the first few days, and patients should follow their surgeon’s instructions for activity, food, hygiene, and medication. Your care team will explain what to expect for your specific case.
